What’s new at DBTH ?

As 2015 is (already) coming to an end, let’s take a step back and look at what happened in our beautiful agency over the past months. While music and “music tech” are still our core business activities, we are more and more shifting to other forms of creative technologies such as social TV, innovative services, or even AdTech.

DBTH is also preparing the launch of an innovative initiative bringing together the tech and music world, we’ll let you know more shortly!

In September we had a great opportunity to position ourselves out of the purely music ecosystem : the launch of Trello in France.
Trello is a very popular project management tool that has known one of the fastest growth of 2015. Our agency DBTH was in charge of building relations with the tech ecosystem in France, both in terms of PR and events. We organized about 35 professional events and meetups in Paris, Nantes and Lyon, and secured interviews in major french medias (Le Figaro, L’Obs, Frenchweb..), with a total of 112 media publications in September and October.

Another service, another localisation. We have just started to work for Jimdo, a free online website creator that anyone can use. The company, based in Germany, aims to develop and localise their service in France. We have settled on a strategy quite similar to Trello, mostly based on PR and events but also on content marketing. Focusing on the easiness of their product and on the hand-in-hand support from their french team (located in Hamburg), Jimdo is willing to reach as much independent workers and small entrepreneurs as possible, targeting all types of businesses requiring a website. Yes, this really means a large audience!

Let’s keep going with our new AdTech client, InSkin Media, specialized in innovative advertising technologies. With impactful and non-intrusive formats, InSkin Media aims at developing ad viewability and increase brand impact in a market suffering from ad-rejection and adblockers growing usage. DBTH works on the localisation of their product “PageSkin” through the website translation, PR and content marketing in France.

Wondering about our music-related activities ? Exciting things are on the way ! First, we have started to work for Sonos, the world-famous firm conceiving smart audio speakers, leader of the “multi-room” market. Our agency is helping Sonos to build relationships with key music and tech influencers in France and create a Sonos culture that does not exist in France yet. This is mainly achieved by events organisation, PR and digital strategies implementation.

DBTH also works for Bax-shop, a Dutch online and music store for musicians, DJs and producers. Our agency is setting up partnerships with French music and artists ecosystems and developing brand awareness.

Last but not least we are also assisting the microfunding service named Support Link (which is offering a bridge between creators and their fans) in extending its community of users and acquiring greater visibility. Check it out !

Digital strategies for TV shows have also taken a more and more important part in the agency activities. Indeed, five TV series have called upon DBTH to manage their social media channels since September!
The two of them that have already been broadcasted were a great success : positioned in Twitter TT in France (trending topics), 5% of engagement rate on Twitter, thousands of “Likes” on Facebook….
We wish the same success to the 3 new ones to come !

Finally, DBTH has been partnering for over a year now with an international french television service, “France Médias Monde”, for the creation of an app competition in Africa.

We are proud to announce that the competition has officially launched on December 3th under the name of “RFI Challenge App Afrique”, since it is supported by the daily radio show “Priorité santé” broadcast on Radio France International (RFI). The contest aims at developing innovative web or app-based solutions for improving access to health-related information in Africa, and is sponsored by many prestigious partners such as Microsoft, Facebook and VC4Africa. Subscriptions are open til January 31th here, do not hesitate to spread the word !
